Good minimalist mail app

Would have given it 5 stars but begging for a rating on a product I purchased already is not good practice. You can do it once but if I ignored the request you should not keep asking.

It’s ok, but

It is very plain, not worth spending $28.00 for it.

The perfect email app

This is the cleanest email app I have ever used, and the only one I could find that I liked for Mac. It syncs well with all other devices, and it works flawlessly.

Very good indeed

I hesitated before dishing out $$$ for this app and, so far, I’m glad I did. It actually makes reading and parsing through e-mail (somewhat) enjoyable. Considering the asking price, I would advise the developer to make a trial version available. Bring cards over and I’ll revise my star rating upward. Nevertheless, I recommend this.

Good but one step to be perfect

nice UI, easy to use. Waiting for the app integration then would be perfect. Anyway, it is free. What do we expect more?

Cannot copy and paste links from Chrome into my email

I want to first say that I love this product and service. I am having issues trying to copy urls from Google Chrome and then pasting them into my emails. When I copy them in, they just show up blank. What I am having todo is paste it in Text Edit and then Copy —> Paste to CloudMagic Compose Message. Please get this fixed ASAP. Thank you!

Good Bye CloudMagic

I’ve used CloudMajic since it started. While I understand the developer needs to turn a profit, their new fee structure is ludicrous. If they think one free year will suffice they are crazy? Great email app, best of luck in the future... I am uninstalling this on all my devices today.

Great app, but missing key feature

Big fan of the app, but even after its big feature overhaul it’s still missing some basics – the big one being able to drag a file into the dock icon to start a new message with that file attached. Expecially for an email client that is meant to be work-focused, I’m really surprised this hasn’t been implemented. Sending files back and forth are a huge part of my workflow and that one little feature would make life easier.

Finally a good mail app

How refreshing it is to discover a well-designed app for email! (Or a well-designed app, period!) The Macs Mail app has been dreadful; a shameful execution of a poor design; it never quite worked right, and was overly complex. CloudMagic is a fresh take on the mail app. Its quite different — be sure you appreciate its aesthetic and minimalism before you buy.

Subscription???

I just noticed the IOS app switched to an insanely prriced subscription so I came to check on my Mac version and I see you’re doing the same thing. It was bad enough when you jacked the price up, but now subscription?? CloudMagic was ok for a one shot price of maybe $5 for the Mac app but it sure isn’t worth the subscription price. You can keep your free 1 year trial too. Whoever is telling developers that subscription is the way to go isn’t considering just how many subscriptions people are going to sign up for and what types of services. If people already have to pay for music, movies, some extra storage, do you think a service like email that is readily available for free is going to be a priority when budgeting for a subscription budget? Boy, there’s some bad marketing advice being given. Bye bye

Love the app but...

This email has everyting I want in an email program but…I am not going to pay the ridiculous price you are asking. $5.00 is a more reasonable price. I will delete this program once the trial is over.

Was the best...

This was an amazing email application. As CloudMagic I had everything I watned. Now I have ads poping up to pay for this subscripton every few minutes and I have no interest in any of the features. Please remove this prompts to purchase a subscription.

I’ve found my email application!

As a long time follower of the GTD process (or Getting Things Done), I’ve dreamed up the perfect email application for work that would allow me quickly process my emails in a way that makes sense. Newton does that. The process simply states that for all your tasks, you can either “do, delegate, or defer”. Email’s always been good at delegating; you just foward the email to someone else. For Doing, I’ve copied emails to checklist-based task managers and Defering typically meant leaving the email in my inbox until I got around to dealing with it. That’s been a source of real stress. You never have an empty inbox because there’s almost always something you have to do later. With connected apps, I can now save my DO emails to ToDoIst. And I can send my deffered emails to when I actually want to deal with them. Think of an emailed coupon that’s not useful to you until 5 days from now… do you really want to see it in your inbox for the next 5 days? Really happy with this one. Super clean and super powerful. Kudos to the developer.

Bait and Switch tactics for a third rate product.

I was tired of Apple Mail, a tired appication not being updated close to often enough.I bought this app months ago, I PAID for an email client, on faith, without even the benefit of a trial period, because I believe in supporting the little guy. What I got was an OK, not great email client, that has some nice stying but some less than great functionality. Especially the part that to use folders, I had to set them up at the ISP level, not in the app itelf. It also crashed, a lot. It occassionally lost emails, or didn’t send them, and a real concern, if you didn’t have the email downloaded, couldn’t access it if you were not connected to the internet. But then they out of the blue decided to launch a new business model, where PAYING them merely got you in a positoin where you could SUBSCRIBE to use the app, and worse, it was an annual fee. LIke $60 CDN a year. For an email client. After I have already bougth it. Excuse me? A week later, we get a lame letter from the CEO explaining that they need to charge you an arm and a leg to support their business model. It’s not even a great app! I could go on and on about why you abslutely shouldn’t use this app - there’s NOTHING to recommend it and Apple will eventually wise up and improve their way out of date free model, burying this joke in a single update. But this company will be out of business in a year or less anyway, because they think an email app is the way to build a unicorn company. They are dreaming. In all the years I have used Apple I have never seen anything as preposterous as this company’s claim to your money or a more sleazy bat and switch. Good riddance.

just a machine translation — menu,etc...

I like cloudmagic, itself. However , the Japanese language support is very poor. I would like to use English version. Or, I would like to translate from English to true Japanese, if could.

Very nice but really needs template email support

The software is great and I use it on both OSX and Nadroid but I really, really wish template emails were implemented. I send the same email with slightly different infomation very often and would love template option like in Gmail, Yahoo Mail or just about any other email client. Implement this in a future build and it instantly goes to 5 stars. Additionally, an option to increase the size of the window when writing an email would be nice. Selecting text when the text is longer than the window will display is a pain as (maybe only for me) the window does not automatically scroll.

I’m loving it!

CloudMagic is hands down the best e-mail client I have used because 1. It looks awesome 2. It’s very fast 3. It’s very easy to configure accross devices 4. The support is just fantastic, these guys listen to their users Of course it could be better (what couldn’t) but its getting new features and fixes with frequent updates. I can’t wait for the Cards feature on the iOS version to be implemented into the Mac version.

Not With Exchange!

It is quite interesting to use such a clear application. But it does not work with exchange smootly Search does not work. Whenever I click an search item I get an “Item has been removed” error. I always had to keep outlook open while using this. If you are not an email professional, it might work. If not; I have deleted! I don’t know if I can get e refund!

Notification Options

Notification should include Archieve/Close or Delete/Read options as well. By looking at the sender of e-mail, we usually are able to determine whether it is worth to read or not.

Nice and Easy

Nice and easy usage. Very friendly and helpful customer service when you need. Besides that it would be great adding picture/photo into the mail compose instead of adding it like an attachment. Nice work :)
