Subscription???

I just noticed the IOS app switched to an insanely prriced subscription so I came to check on my Mac version and I see you’re doing the same thing. It was bad enough when you jacked the price up, but now subscription??

CloudMagic was ok for a one shot price of maybe $5 for the Mac app but it sure isn’t worth the subscription price. You can keep your free 1 year trial too.

Whoever is telling developers that subscription is the way to go isn’t considering just how many subscriptions people are going to sign up for and what types of services. If people already have to pay for music, movies, some extra storage, do you think a service like email that is readily available for free is going to be a priority when budgeting for a subscription budget? Boy, there’s some bad marketing advice being given.
