I have used the mobile version of this product for some time, and I love it. I was hoping to use the same product for OS X, allowing me to have everything perfectly synced, as well as reducing the number of different mail apps I have installed on all my devices. The developer is correct in referring to a clean simple inbox, but honestly, there are a few features I would love to see added to a product update:
1. Please give us a message preview pane.
2. Please alow us to have greater control over window size. I use a product called Divvy that allows me to have a split-screen. Running two or more programs at the same time is important to me. This mail app, though, is something of a screen hog. It doesn’t like to give up too much screen area, even though much of what its window contains is sort of wasted, non-informational space. This means that it overlaps the other app significantly. When trying to resize the app window manually, it severely limits how small I can resize it.
3. More intuitive user interface. I have had several instances of my sent replies not being shown with other posts in a thread. This has made me takes several steps to get to my Sent Mail folder just to make sure it was delivered.
4. Ability to set the View so that a list of mailboxes is shown, thus allowing us to immediately get to another mailbox, just by clicking on it.
Some of these shortcomings have been indictaed by other reviewers. I do wish I had taken the time to read them before spending $20 on a email program. Simplicity is great, but flexibility is greater. I am not sure I understand why an expensive email app seems so determined to offers the user fewer options than do several other, cheaper apps.
